Spiritual Disciplines 101: The Hidden Joy in a Dark Corner Teaching Series
Note: This is an audio product, not a book, to accompany the study.
Do you struggle to stay focused when you’re praying?
Do you ever wonder, what is the purpose of fasting?
And what’s the point of memorizing Scripture when we can pull up a verse in seconds on our smartphones?
Our Online Bible Studies team wants to help you answer these questions! We invite you to join us as we develop spiritual disciplines. “Spiritual disciplines” is a fancy term for creating habits that make us more like Jesus. They’re things we do to help us grow in our faith.
1 Timothy 4:7-8 says it this way: “Have nothing to do with irreverent, silly myths. Rather train yourself for godliness; for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.” (ESV)
Through this teaching series, we will open our Bibles and learn from people who trained themselves in order to stay in God’s presence and to know Him even more.
